Yassin Sagnia can you share a little more about what you're thinking here? Would this be something a team member would mark as complete (just with no deliverable), or something where they take no action and it is just a reminder in the project timeline?
Yassin Sagnia
Emily Masching I think both would be a great option. It's a reminder in the project timeline, but there's no deliverable tied to it and students can mark it complete to move it to the 'completed' section of the milestone

Yassin Sagnia: It sounds like a good idea and something we can tweak milestones slightly to do, but would require a fair bit of work as we'd have to modify a lot about milestone submissions and notifications, as well as the milestone creation component.
Can you add context on where this request came from? Has this been requested by educators?
Yassin Sagnia
Emily Masching Yes, I've had a couple educators ask. Last semester I had to delete a milestone for the students to progress because the educator created a milestone as a checkpoint/reminder

Yassin Sagnia: Sorry just coming back to this and wanted to clarify - even when deadlines are set to binding, a milestone should never block a learner from progressing. Please let me know if you see anything like that again so we can look into it.

Emily Masching sounds good! Thank you!
