Feature Requests

When an update is posted to any of the signature programs, the employers receive an email that there is a new update in platform - I worry that folks do not pay attention when they come from team@riipen, the way every platform message comes to their inbox. Ideally, updates would route through the platform email so that it looks like the email is coming directly from the program, potentially encouraging the employers/students to pay more attention to the message coming through if they are aware right away that it is pertinent to a specific program, as opposed to having to click in to verify it isnt another type of Riipen alert

Currently when we import individual teams they are prompted in the wizard to send a message. I would love to see the option for individuals to choose if they want this message to go to the employer, or all teams + employer, to avoid double messaging, confusion after the fact, and allow them to choose their messaging based on their audience. If an experience has only one option set, we should clearly explain who the message is going to (relevant if only all teams + employer is checked) Thank you!

As a company or portal, I should be notified when a payment of mine is attempted to be processed but I do not have a valid payment method on file. This should include no payment method and an expired payment method. Right now my payments just silently fail and then the learner gets annoyed with me.

Currently, students have to manually search through all projects in the FuturePath October Cohort to find ones that are still open. This can be time-consuming and confusing, especially when many projects are already closed. Please, add a filter or toggle option that allows students to easily view open vs. closed projects, similar to what is available in the admin view.

Right now dealing with invoices in my own business outside of the Riipen platform is a bit of an issue. Invoices in the platform work great and the functionality works as expected, but it's hard to "take my invoices with me" into my business. Specifically: No easy way to download a usable invoice - can't screenshot invoice if it's longer than a screen. Can't download invoice without it getting mangaled by the browser print page functionality. Payment details. It's not easy to discern the FuturePath / portal payment vs my own company's payment. Visually they look the same when you are looking at the payment page When I receive an invoice in an email - it is not an invoice - nothing attached - which is fine - I'll log in - but as mentioned when you click through the email there is no download option. Would be nice to have an attachment here as well.

Currently for an educator to have visibility into the "teams" tab, both the "teams" and "edit" role criteria need to be enabled/selected. I would love to be able to disable "edit" and still have the teams tab visible.

As an observer of a team, I should be able to comment on their milestones and submissions to guide them through the project.

Hello! As a learner, I'd love to be able to chat with my team without the employer present in the chat. This will avoid excess notifications or unnecessary context for the employer and give the teams a workspace that is on-platform, eliminating the need for them to use a third-party app. This will also give Riipen admins/partners a way to monitor learner engagement if complaints of participation arise amongst the group. Since we could have up to three chats at any given time on a project page, I also think a highlight colour/flag on each one could be beneficial to help differentiate visually. Thank you!

Though I understand WHY this is not a thing we allow for scoping purposes when a project is accepted, I am wondering if for Signature Programs we can think of a way to bring it in? Employers and students will begin working together and jointly decide that the scope of work has changed based on the students abilities and I am wondering if there is a way to introduce scope changing mid-project that includes sign off from both the student and the employer (and maybe even the educator/us) in order to allow for this to happen in a controlled way when the scope changes legitimately

This was brought up for FuturePath, but the ability to close a project to applications and provide a reason that can be something along the lines of reached maximum applicants needed for this project found matches elsewhere/no longer looking for matches pausing applications to interview We are losing FP projects to LU and to outside applicants and the ability to communicate that to both the students in the cohort, and to us to understand the drop off would be hugely helpful
